I wish writers could be the guest hosts on Saturday Night Live. How fun would that be? I was cracking up watching tonight's SNL rerun. My favorite? The Cougar Den. haha. I'm not old enough to be on it, but I know that lots of older ladies go after younger guys. But none that I know look like Cameron Diaz! hahaha
If you like SNL or have ever watched it, what are some of your favorite skits? I think if I was on it, I'd want to be on a SNL Digital Short. Or maybe MacGuber?

Cowbell still cracks me up, but I think most people feel that way.
Assuming I could be in any skit dating back to the beginning of SNL - I'd go with the Jeopardy skits or the Cheerleader skits. Or Coneheads! But only as a Conehead.
There are two things everyone loves: Cats and Lasers.

HAHAH!!! Dang it, Josh! I LOVE that one! I should have said it!
It's based on King Lear. Could you tell? haha.
Although it was not a sketch, your post sent me in search of one of my favorite Steve Martin visits to SNL. Goes wayyyy backkk to 1978 when Steve Martin did his major singing hit "King Tut" in full King Tut era Egyptian regalia, while Tut-dancing and singing his way through the song.
I searched YouTube hoping to share that with you, but sadly, it does not exist on YouTube. I guess they would rather sell it as a snippet in a larger SNL DVD or hide it from the world for copyright reasons, as though it would not serve as a great marketing tool for SNL and Steve Martin.
Anyway, it was hilarious at the time. The Bees, Coneheads, Cheeseburger-Cheeseburger-Cheeseburger. Sigh, I saw SNL at the beginning. Thanks for bringing back some fun thoughts.
