Author Signing: Starring Lisa Schroeder!!

The amazing and talented Lisa Schroeder had a book signing tonight and I was lucky enough to be there. Thankfully this nice man with a baby gave up his seat so that I could sit down (thanks, Jim!). Because it was standing room only! Lisa's book CHASING BROOKLYN came out today and it is AWESOME!!!!!

Here are some pics!
Even some bloggers from Salem drove up! Hi, girls!!
And of course, Portland's AMAZING, SUPPORTIVE, BRILLIANT crew!!! LK Madigan, Christine Fletcher, Lisa Nowak, Emily Whitman, April Henry, Lisa Schroeder, Laini Taylor, ME, Jim Di Bartolo and Jone McCollough!

So much fun!!!!!

I love Lisa's books and I was lucky enough to meet Lisa at ALA last year-she's so super sweet! I wanted to buy the book at Borders today but it's all sold out. I can't wait to read it. And seriously, your posts make Portland look like the coolest place to live.

That must have been a lot of fun! I was excited to read that you were once a middle school teacher too. I teach middle school history currently at a school in Virginia. It's good to see that someone else from my field made it!!! YEAH! I am really looking forward to your series- really unique idea. I hope you will take a moment to check out my blog :)
