I've wanted to be a speaker at Wordstock--an awesome literary festival here in Portland--since I attended it two years ago. For me it was one of those, "I wish I wish I wish" things. Today, I was INVITED TO SPEAK THERE!!
Omg, yay, right??? I'm so unspeakably excited about this. Of course, right after I said yes, I thought, WAIT!? What am I going to talk about for 45 minutes????
Well, I'll have some time to think about it since the festival is October 8-9th. But I'll keep you posted on my increasing anxiety and social disorder leading up to the event!

I could write 10,000 words in about two days. BUT if you ask me to talk for 45 minutes I would have a panic attack. and die.
Agree! I think I'm going to have dive into stories from my high school years.... :)
