The Program books

Want to know more about THE PROGRAM? Well, I have books for that. Here's a quick list of the books set in the Program world. There are two duologies and one e-novella from Michael Realm's point of view:

Original Series:
THE PROGRAM (available now)
THE TREATMENT (available now)
The Recovery--an original e-novella (February 24th, 2015)

The Recovery

If you've read THE PROGRAM and THE TREATMENT and want to know what happens after the last page, there's a Michael Realm short story called The Recovery. Here's the copy:

Six months after the fall of The Program, ex-handler Michael Realm is struggling with his guilt. After all, he was instrumental in erasing the memories of several patients—including one he claimed to love. With a lifetime of regret stretched before him, Realm vows to set things right.
Along with his friend, James Murphy, Realm will track down those he’s hurt in an attempt to give them back their lives—starting with Dallas Stone. He’s not looking for forgiveness or redemption; he’s not a hero. But Realm hopes that with each recovered past, he’ll be able to reclaim a small bit of his own.

New Series:
THE REMEDY (April 21st, 2015)
THE EPIDEMIC (April, 2016)

THE REMEDY and THE EPIDEMIC will focus on a new cast of characters, but the stories are still set in the same world as The Program books. Tons of romance, fear, sadness--all the things I love to write about. Here's a quick look:
In a world before The Program…

Quinlan McKee is a closer. Since the age of seven, Quinn has held the responsibility of providing closure to grieving families with a special skill—she can “become” anyone.

Recommended by grief counselors, Quinn is hired by families to take on the short-term role of a deceased loved one between the ages of fifteen and twenty. She’s not an exact copy, of course, but she wears their clothes and changes her hair, studies them through pictures and videos, and soon, Quinn can act like them, smell like them, and be them for all intents and purposes. But to do her job successfully, she can’t get attached.

Now seventeen, Quinn is deft at recreating herself, sometimes confusing her own past with those of the people she’s portrayed. When she’s given her longest assignment, playing the role of Catalina Barnes, Quinn begins to bond with the deceased girl’s boyfriend. But that’s only the beginning of the complications, especially when Quinn finds out the truth about Catalina’s death. And the epidemic it could start.

I'm kicking around some other ideas, but this is the entire Program world as I imagined it! Hope you enjoy!

I have read these books 10+ times each! I love them so much. Have you ever thought about doing a book years from where the current ones take place? You could write if james and Sloane ever had kids, about Dallas and realm, what happened to Asa, Lacey, and Roger. Just some ideas, I feel like I'm friends with these characters. I would love to see what's next!

To be completely honest... These books struck a nerve because the raw feelings expressed by the characters were so realistic and relatable. I was submerged completely in the book; so submerged that I finished each book in a day or less. I am shocked at the relatively small recognition that The Program series has received. I think it deserves to be highly praised for the excellent plot Suzanne Young displays as the books go on. She never fails to keep you guessing. Overall, The Program books are a great series from an outstanding author!

I read The Program in like a day, it was such a great read! I just placed an order for The Treatment and The Epidemic, and I just finished The Remedy today too! You have inspired me to become an author, as a junior in high school I had no idea what I wanted to do until I read these books. Thank you so much, the emotion I experienced whilst reading these books was like no other!
